Does swipesign store signed documents?

No — swipesign is not a document storage or management platform.

To protect your data and comply with international privacy standards, all uploaded documents are automatically deleted from our system after 14 days. This applies without exception.

Only the audit trail — containing cryptographic and certificate metadata necessary for legal verification — is retained. This enables compliance with frameworks such as eIDAS and long-term validation (LTV) without storing the original document.

swipesign does not analyze, index, or use your documents for any secondary purpose. We do not track user content, train AI models, or run analytics on signed files.

All data is encrypted end to end and hosted on ISO 27001–certified servers in Germany, in full alignment with GDPR and other global data protection standards.

This minimal data retention policy is intentional — and part of swipesign’s commitment to security, transparency, and privacy by design.
